Gleanings for June 30

GOD’S STRENGTH

The Name Ezekiel literally means, “God strengthens.” Today I am sharing some passages from The Personalized Promise Bible taken from the book of Ezekiel:

Ezekiel 1: 12: “I am led by the Spirit of God. Wherever He goes, I go. I cannot be diverted from the path that He has set before me.”

Verse 1: 20: “The Spirit of God is within me, instructing me in the ways of righteousness and leading me in a glorious service. As I follow His lead, He makes everything around me work in harmony to achieve His purpose for my life.”

Verse 3: 14: “The Spirit of God is within me, stirring up my own spirit in a rage against evil. His strong hand is upon me to go forth and conquer.

Verses 3: 17 – 27: “I have been given the assignment of a watchman to warn people against the consequences of evil; I offer God’s goodness and mercy to a hurting world suffering from the cruel hand of Satan. I refuse to sit idly by and watch the devil take people to hell. I stand up in their defense, giving them warning and telling them of a new and better way. I am a soul-winner for God and a voice leading back-sliders to return to the arms of their Father.

“God’s hand is upon me and His Spirit is within me. He gives me specific instructions as to what to say and what to do as I fulfill my commission. God reveals to me exactly what I need to say in any given situation, or to any certain individual. Together, we are winning this world for His glory.”

Verses 11: 17 – 20: “I have been reconciled to God. My spirit has been recreated and regenerated and I now have an undivided heart dedicated to His will. I no longer have a cold, stony, Satan-ruled heart, but have been given a heart of flesh, filled with the life of God.

“As God’s newborn son/daughter, I now have the ability to live above sin. All of the things in my life that bring dishonor to His name I remove without hesitation.

“I am careful to keep the law of love, that perfect law of liberty in my life

“I live every day in full realization that I am God’s son/daughter and that He is my Father.

“Verses 12: 25, 28: “Every Word that God has given me is fulfilled in my life. He does not delay in keeping His promises to me.”

“Verses 16: 8 – 13: “God has spread the corner of His garment over me and covered my nakedness. He has given me His solemn oath that He will never leave me nor forsake me. He has cleansed me from my bloodguilt, glorified me, and dressed me in costly apparel. He feeds me with His abundance of rich dainty morsels. He prospers everything I set my hand to do. Together, we have a covenant pact. All that He is and all that He has is mine, and all that I am and all that I have is His.”

Verses 18: 21 & 22: “God’s Word is my life preserver; I am careful to follow all of His precepts, for in doing so I am ensured a life of health, peace, and prosperity. Because I follow the ways of righteousness, I will live the kind of life that God intends for me to live.”

THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH!
