God’s Supreme Revelation – JESUS

Hebrews 1:1 – 4 NKJV:  “God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds,

“Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins,         “Sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”

When sin entered the world, God immediately promised a Savior.  The book of Hebrews brings out the truth of WHO that is.  Once again I present a Faith Statement from the Personalized Promise Bible:

“In the past God spoke to my forefathers though the prophets at many times and in various ways, but today He speaks to me directly, through JESUS, whom He appointed heir to all things, and through whom He created the universe.

“He is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by the Word of His power.

“After He provided my justification, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Now I, having been baptized into His Spirit, am identified with all that He is and all that He did.  He did not do all of this for Himself---He did it for me.  He sat down once He had provided all that I need to fulfill my commission and live out the life that He has called me to live.

Hebrews 2: 14 NKJV:  “Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is the devil.”

Faith’s Confession:  “What a wonder it is that I have become the very brother/sister of the Creator of the universe!  He shared in my humanity and fallen nature so that through His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death---that is the devil.  In this, He has set me completely free from the fear of death, which held me in bondage.

“Because He took upon Himself my humanity and was tempted in the same ways that I am, He is able to help and provide relief for me when I am tempted.  In all things, and in every way, I am identified with Jesus.  I have truly become one with HIM.”

OH WHAT A SAVIOR WE HAVE!

THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH!
