Isaiah 55: 3: “My heavenly Father and I have a covenant pact that cannot be broken. All that He has—even His own authority, power, provision, and treasury are mine, and all that I have—even my spirit, soul, body, home, family, and possessions are His.

“I draw near to Him in love, and I’m always ready to entertain what He says. He in turn, draws near to me in love and is always ready to entertain what I say. The faithful love that He promised to David has become my own.”

Verses 55: 10 – 12: “As rain and snow fall from heaven to water the earth and make it bring forth seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so it is with God’s Word. He has sent it to me for a purpose and it will accomplish that purpose in my life.

“It is continually on my lips as a seed and it brings me a perpetual harvest of good thing. What a joy it is to be led forth in such peace and assurance! The mountains and the hills burst forth into song before me, and I enjoy the goodwill of all who see God’s favor in my life.”

Verse 56: 3: “I have been adopted as God’s own son/daughter and rest securely in His kingdom forever.”

Verses 57: 14 – 19: “My road has been built up and custom made for me. All obstacles have been removed from my path.

“I have been revived, made alive in the spirit and regenerated as a brand-new creation, with God Himself living in my heart.

“God has declared to me that His anger has been removed. All of my sins and willful ways have been put behind me and I can now enter His presence fearlessly, without the slightest sense of guilt for what I have done.

“I am now under the gentle care of my heavenly Father. He heals, guides, and comforts me in my way. He has replaced my sorrow with shouts of praise.

“He has decreed that I am to live securely—in perfect peace, health, and safety. Healing is mine, and that is God’s final Word on it.”

Verses 58: 6 – 9: “The fast that God has ordained for me is this:

“To set the captive free, to loose the chains of injustice, to break the yoke of oppression off of every neck, to share my food with the hungry, to provide the poor and homeless with shelter; to clothe the naked and to take special care of those in my own household.

“By these, my radiance springs forth like the dawn and my healing comes to me quickly and without fail.

“The righteous One goes before me and the glory of the Lord is my rear guard. I call upon the Lord and He answers me. He entertains my every prayer.”

Verse 58: 11: “The Lord guides me continually and satisfies my every need even in a fruitless and sun-scorched land.

“He strengthens my frame and makes me like a well-watered garden—like a spring whose waters never fail.”

THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH!
