Isaiah 27: 2 – 4: “I am as a fruitful vineyard and the Lord is the husbandman.
“He watches over me continually and gives me of all the nourishment that I need.
“He guards me day and night and will not allow any harm to come to me.
“When briars and thorns seek to entangle me, the Lord marches against them as a warrior in battle and sets them all on fire.”
Verse 30: 15: “In repentance and rest is my salvation, and in quietness and trust is my strength.”
Verses 30: 18 – 21: “It is my Father’s deepest desire to give me favor.
“He rises to show me compassion and to consider my situation as I enter His presence.
“I am intimately familiar with His love and His desire for justice on my behalf. Therefore, I will wait for Him with full confidence in His faithfulness.
“The Lord is generous and loving towards me when I call out to Him, and He is quick to respond when I need His help.
“In the midst of adversity and affliction, the Lord shows me the way to go. “Wherever I turn, I hear His tender voice behind me saying,
“This is the way, son / daughter; walk in it.”
Verses 17 – 20: “The fruit of my righteousness brings me peace, and the effect of my righteousness brings me quietness and confidence forever.
“I live in a peaceful dwelling, a safe and secure home, and in undisturbed places of rest.
“Though adversity rises, raining destruction on all sides, even if those around me are completely annihilated;
“I remain secure and blessed, sowing my seed by every stream and enjoying God’s abundant increase in my life.”
Verse 33: 2: “I reach out to my heavenly Father with all of my heart and He responds to me with His grace and overwhelming compassion.
“He is my strength every morning and my salvation in times of trouble.”
Verses 33: 5 & 6: “I trust in the Lord with all of my heart and He fills me with His justice and righteousness.
“He is the sure foundation of my life and my stability in every situation.
“Out of His abundance, He brings me a full supply of wisdom, knowledge and salvation for every circumstance that I face.
“As His son / daughter, I have free access to all of His treasuries.”
THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH!
