Jeremiah 29: 7: “I take special pride in the prosperity of the city in which I live. All of my thoughts for her are for peace and goodwill.

“I do my best to see that she prospers, for I understand that when my city prospers, I prosper. (I will not forget that a city is made up of people, not buildings and dirt.) Therefore, I will seek the prosperity of the people and wage war against any poverty that has rooted itself within them.”

Verses 29: 8 & 9: “I do not listen to psychics and diviners. The so-called “psychic friends” are no friends of mine.

“They are the devil’s puppets set to deceive the foolish and profit from their folly. They are not of God and will have no place in my life.”

Verses 29: 11 – 14: “All of God’s thoughts for me are for good and never for evil. His plan for my life is to make me prosperous, give me hope, and provide for me a glorious future.

“He has handpicked everything that is best for me in life and presents it to me with great joy. His desire for me is to live in His abundance.

“My call brings a smile to my Father’s face and He listens to me with great concern. When I seek Him with all of my heart, He sees to it that I find Him.

“He has rescued me from the powers of darkness and is now enjoying my continual companionship.”

Verses 30: 8 & 9: “God has broken the yoke of the oppressor from off of my neck and has ripped the bonds from off of my hands. I am no longer a slave of the enemy. I am now a born-again child of God and I serve Him freely.”

Verses 30: 17 & 18: “God has restored health and vitality to me and has healed all of my wounds. He has compassion on my dwelling and restores to me all of the fortunes that the devil robbed from my life.

“Good health, prosperity and God’s tender care are ever present realities for me to enjoy.”

Verses 31: 3 & 4: “My heavenly Father loves me with an eternal devotion and has drawn me to Himself with immeasurable compassion. I have His Word that He will mold me and make me what He desires me to be.

“From here on out, He will do nothing but encourage, strengthen, and build me up. I can rest assured that He will never give up on me. Therefore I can now, at this present time, take my place and dance with joy among the faithful.”

Verses 11 – 14: “The Lord has redeemed me from the hand of the enemy. He has stripped him of his authority over me and has left him powerless beneath my feet.

“I enter the church with shouts of praise, rejoicing in the abundance of God’s beauty. I am like a well-watered garden flourishing in beauty and fine fruit.

“Sorrow has been removed from my midst and I dance with great hilarity in the presence of my Father. I enjoy comfort and joy instead of sorrow, and my stores are filled with the wealth of God’s abundance.”

THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH!
