Psalm 119: 48 NKJV: “My hands also I will lift up to Your commandments which I love, and I will meditate on Your statutes.”

FAITH CONFESSIONS from PERSONALIZED PROMISE BIBLE:

Psalm 119: 38, 41 – 43: “My life is established and preserved through the Word. Not one of God’s promises fails to be fulfilled in me. I hold fast to them with all of my heart, for by this, I am revered and respected in the earth.

“Though there are those who will taunt and make fun of me because of my trust in the Lord, I will not give in. I am convinced—completely sold out—on the fact that the promised of my God are true. His love for me will never fail and my deliverance is as sure as the devil’s destruction. My Father’s Word shall remain upon my lips regardless of the circumstances.”

Verse 50: “My comfort in the midst of life’s troubles is this: God has promised to deliver me out of every one of them!”

Verses 57 – 64: “My covenant with almighty God has been sealed and ratified. I will obey His every command. I seek His face with all of my heart, for He alone can provide what I need to fulfill my destiny.

“His favor rests upon me and my path is made clear and certain. All of my ways are in keeping with His statutes. When Satan comes against me to ensnare me in his wicked ways of bondage, I will look to the Word.

Even if he comes in the middle of the night, I will rise and give God thanks, for His Word is true and in it I have my victory.

“I am the friend and partner of all who hold fast to the Word with unwavering confidence. We are all knit together in the power of His love. I can be certain that in every circumstance God has someone who is standing with me.”

Verses 64 – 68: “I am taught by the best. God, the very creator of heaven and earth is my master instructor.

“He delivered me from a life full of turmoil and has shown me the way to live in His peace.

“His goodness to me is revealed in His Word. By it, I have learned to retain knowledge and good judgment. God is good and everything that He does for me is good.

“With Him as my teacher, I am gaining extensive understanding of His ways, and how I am to incorporate them into my life.”

Verses 74 – 81: “The people of God recognize my commitment to the Word and they rejoice. God’s Word is the very discipline of my life, afflicting me when I need chastisement and comforting me even in the midst of my affliction.

“God’s unfailing love to me is revealed in His Word and His promises give me serenity in this life. The compassion of my heavenly Father that is revealed in His Word overwhelms me. I meditate upon His precepts and find tremendous delight in His righteous laws.”
