Psalm
“He goes before me in my advance against the armies of darkness.
“His Word flows through me, in all of its perfection, as my shield, sword and refuge of protection.
“It is my own heavenly Father who arms me with this strength and makes my way flawless before Him.
“He makes my feet fast and graceful as a deer, and enables me to stand in even the hottest of battles.
“He trains me in the art of spiritual warfare and enables me to do what the world thinks impossible.
“He gives me His shield of victory as an everlasting possession and His right hand sustains me every second of my life.
“Yes, the Lord, my heavenly Father, has broadened the path beneath my feet so that in me there is no shadow of turning.”
Psalm 23: “The Lord is my Shepherd, a fierce guardian who watches over me with a relentless eye.
“He fills all of my needs and desires so that I am in want of nothing.
“He makes me to lie down in green pastures—a fertile land of abundance.
“He leads me beside the still and quiet streams of life-giving water
“He restores my life to full vitality.
“He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake alone and not by my own merits.
“Even if I am walking in the midst of death’s domain, I will fear no evil, for I know that the Lord is with me.
“The rod of His wrath and the staff of His power bring me comfort.
“He prepares a table for me of the choicest portions of His bounty right in the presence of my enemies. They look on in humiliation as I fest upon His blessings.
“He covers my head with His burden-removing, yoke-destroying power and my prosperity flows from me in a shower of abundance.
“His love and His mercy cling to me all the days of my life and He calls me His own forevermore.”
Psalm 119: 160 – 162 & 165: “I recognize that all of my Father’s promises are eternally faithful.
“I tremble in knowing that they have been given to me on a personal level.
“When I find one, I rejoice as one who has found buried treasure and is made rich beyond his wildest dreams.
“Because I hold the Word in highest honor, nothing in this life can make me stumble.”
