I Peter 1: 13 – 23: “I premeditate over the issues of life and prepare my mind beforehand for action.

“I purpose in my heart to know what to do in any situation I may face. I remain sober, alert and self-controlled.

“I set my hope immutable on the grace that will be brought to me on the day that Jesus is revealed.

“As God’s obedient son/daughter, I do not conform to the evil desires I had when I lived in ignorance.

“Just as God, who called me, is holy, I also am holy in everything that I do; for it is written: “You shall be holy, because I am holy.”

“I am obedient to my new nature as a born-again child of god. I know who I am and will not defile that knowledge by living as less than I am.

“Since I call upon a Father who judges with impartiality, I will live my life in reverent respect for Him.

“I fully recognize that I was not redeemed from my fallen nature with corruptible things such as silver and gold, but was purchased with the precious blood of Jesus, the Lamb who was, and is, without spot or blemish.

“He was chosen before the creation of the world to be manifested in these last days for my sake.

“Through Him, I believe in God, who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him glory and honor, so that my faith and hope would remain centered in God alone.

“I have now been purified by obeying the Truth and in me has been birthed a sincere and heartfelt love for the body of Christ.

“I love all of my brothers and sisters in Christ with a deep love that comes from a pure heart, for I have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable and eternal seed, through the living active unchanging, and enduring Word of God.”

I John 2: 27 – 29: “The anointing that I have received from God remains living and active within me.

“Though God has established many teachers to open up the Word for me, I do not always need someone else to teach me the Truth, for I know it from within.

“The anointing causes messages of Truth to bear witness with my spirit as I delve into the Word and see it for myself.

“The Holy Spirit that I have within me teaches me about all things. He is real and vital to my understanding of the Word.

“I shall remain in Jesus, just as the anointing has led me to do. I will remain in Him, so that when He appears I can be confident and unashamed before Him at His coming.

“I cannot be duped by anyone. I know that my Lord is righteous and that everyone who does what is righteous has been born of Him.”
